A little throwback to October 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. Most things were closed and there wasn't much to do anywhere, so Angela and I headed down to Ogunquit and Wells for the weekend anyway. Turns out the coast doesn't close. Pancakes with a tiny bottle of Moose Hill maple syrup to start the day, then a lot of wandering along the beach and the rocks with blue sky and crisp air... masks in our pockets, because 2020. That night we took a light walk through the woods in Eliot, all lit up with strings of lights and a tree or two with glowing faces. It was exactly the kind of weekend we needed that year. 🍂
